I remember in the early books, Anita was just as misogynistic. The thing was, however, that she called herself out on it, which I really liked. I think it was in CotD, there is a point where she simply assumes the lawyer is male, and when she finds out otherwise, it says in the narrative, "How sexist of me." It's one of the things I've liked about the Dresden Files, also. Well, I can still only speak for Storm Front still.
