Hahaha! I have a similar tale, actually! My sister and I were petsitting for a pair of cats, one of which we called The Oldie, because she was old and we couldn't say her real name since it was Russian. One day we couldn't find the Oldie so we looked and looked and finally I found her under the bed and I held her up and called to my sister. My sister came in, a look of horror came over her face, and she shouted, "THAT'S NOT THE OLDIE!"
I'd been standing in front of a window and the light had made Oldie look different XD She really thought some strange cat was in the house!
And awww, Sam sounds so pretty and I'm glad she liked her chicken!
I don't even get this "Master of [insert therian type]" bullshit anyway. What's weird (though I guess good) is that it only applies to tigers. There's no Master of Wolves, Master of Rats, etc. I can certainly see differences between tigers and other therian groups, but I still can't really finagle in my head how this works out exactly. I think LKH just, shocker, didn't think it through with how it fits into the world she's already built.
