One of the things I can't stand about her character voice is that it is exactly the same in all situations - I don't know anyone who does that in real life. Formal occasions and work-related occasions require you to adopt "work mode" - whatever you call it, there's a way you talk to bosses and clients and people ywho work for you that is (or should be, at least) completely different than your normal mode of speech around your friends and family. And yet here she is in a major political meeting that may determine the fate of her city and/or the world, and she's talking like she always does at home, complaining and whining and using slang that does not belong in the boardroom. And of course, no one calls her on it. It's so unprofessional I could throw something.
