I wrote a story once that had vampires choosing servants from a group of people who often had a genetic immunity to vampire mind control, but there was an actual reason for this as well as a reason the humans didn't just overthrow the vampires. Here, it just looks like that detail was thrown in for no reason.


Oh and I love that Anita smells of everything at once. Icecream, scented candles, corpses, dogs, rain, sex, flowers, cheese, dirt, onions, pickles, cake, incense...
I bet that would be horrible.
