And I didn't disagree with you to be PC, make you feel like your perceptions of your life experiences were invalidated, or make you feel small and argued with. I disagreed with your statements because I disagreed with your statements.

And, although I can no longer go back and 'actually read your posts' since you've deleted some of them, I'll have to rely on my memory when I say that you didn't use qualifiers before, after, or during your statements regarding 'women'. Your phrasing implied that your 'great female friends who are not horrible' were exceptions that proved the rule. Perhaps that's what we (subconsciously?) ended up responding to despite whatever your original intentions were in writing the communication?

Either way, I seem to have deeply upset you by disagreeing with your original thesis so I'd rather agree to disagree and drop the subject. There's no net gain to be had by continuing this conversation.
