Yup, no mention of Noel! Only Anita and her feelings matter.
It pisses me off because I actually liked Noel. He was one of the few characters with an actual life outside of Anita and the were-world. That's probably why he had to die. Every were/supernatural character that tries to be more than a 'monster' are essentially fucked. Richard is constantly railed on for his desire to have a life outside of being a were-wolf, from the very beginning Noel and the other were-lion were insulted for not being true weres and instead were interested in college. The old Rex, Joseph, allowed his lions to be more than just weres and ends up dead. The vamp-church attempts to have vampires with lives outside of vamp-politics and constant sex, and they are seen as horrible, nasty prudes.
The irony of it is all is that Anita hates weres who try to be more than monsters, but angsts and moans about people labeling weres and vamps as monsters.
