In fact, isn’t the act of comforting more commonly seen as “feminine” behavior because it involves nurturing?
I think that's why she threw the "dominant" thing in; because she's aware most of society sees this as a 'feminine' thing and doesn't want anyone thinking that about Anita, and dominant=masculinity to her.

But remember, according to Dolph’s wife, you’re not supposed to understand love.
