Hmm... you know I think she does place a strange emphasis on sleeping arrangements. We always find out what their bedrooms are like in the VC, but I think it's a decadence thing. This is the only instance I can think of where it's staff co-sleeping. Otherwise it's Marius and Armand or like Pandora and Marius, Lestat and whoever. I can't speak for her other books though.
