It is good to know this, actually! I still probably won't read the rest of the series because, as I said, nothing really grabbed me about it, but I think it's a pretty neat subversion for the all-too-common All other Women Suck/Hate Me gig to turn out to be the result of the protagonist's own flawed perceptions versus the reality, not to mention way more realistic. A pity it didn't come out (to me, though I can be thick) in this first novel, I feel like the fact it came off as for real in this one could put a lot of readers off.
