Liebster Blog Award

The conditions of the award dictate that I post eleven random facts about myself and then answer the eleven questions that the person who awared it to me posted on their page. After that, I give the award to eleven other bloggers who have under 200 followers, link to the person who gave it to me, and link to the people I give the award too after they accept.

1. Ramblings of a Creative Double Dipper - Not only does the author do some very fun sporkings, currently of LKH's work by commenter request, she also has some really good advice about how to go about trying to get yourself published, either self-publishing or trade publishing, and is also a self-published fantasy and sci-fi author herself!

2. Dottie Smith's Verbal Menagerie - Dottie Smith does quite insightful and delightfully snarky chapter by chapter reviews, and is currently going through the Anita Blake series. She also does video reviews of Marvel movies and the Supernatural TV series, and has the entire Sookie Stackhouse series in her archives too, plus has begun occasionally posting her own short stories!

3. The Red Pen- Run by commenter tungstenmonk, The Red Pen is a wondrous hodgepodge of writing advice and essays, linkfests, and reviews of books and movies from a perspective that I find to be thoughtful, insightful, and quite practical.

4. Articulate and Intricate- I found this blog when it came under fire by Anne Rice for a bad review of a book and use of said book for a decopage project. When I visited, I was in awe of the grace, dignity, and utter classiness with which the owner handled the hateful comments and flames of rabid Rice fans. Afterward, I found the rest of the blog well enough to my liking, and decided it deserved a place here on this list.
