I don’t understand why these authors feel the need to have every female character drool over the leading man in order to promote the heroine’s worth.
I have no clue either. It's just annoying and obnoxious. Maybe it's supposed to drive home how desireable the male lead is? Rather than just making him desireable with good writing and his personality and stuff, I guess.
You’d have to actually start writing and seeing people as PEOPLE.
