Not for exactly the same reasons, but when I read these chapters I also experienced intense nausea. Honestly, it just didn't work for me.
Did anyone else notice that Anita was completely passive throughout this entire scene? She does nothing but lay on her back while JC and Richard service her. She suggests nothing, forgets about Asher and is just there with all her screaming and flailing.
