"Have Jean-Claude try the new females that Haven's recruiting for his pride." Try the new females? They're not a sample platter of snacks! No, not even for a vampire! These books have gotten in my head so badly my first thought wasn't "that's not cool, they are people too" but "Jean-Claude have sex with another female? Ha, Anita'll never go for that."
...who out of grade school says "like-like"? People who are being purposefully silly and joke-y....and, of course, morons. (Seriously she's saying this to a powerful vampire MotC as they try to handle a crisis situation WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO SOUND LIKE YOU'RE SEVEN AT THIS TIME?!)
I don't even know what to say about the rest of this chapter. They are all complete nutballs. Poor werelions. :( They do not deserve to be slaughtered for trying to help. (And the most annoying part is, you know it's going to turn out that Anita et al were totally right and Haven is trying to pull some stunt or whatever, even though LKH completely contradicted that multiple times in this chapter.)
