A good person would realize that Anita is always right and sacrifice his own wants and desires for her enjoyment. Haven failed to do any of the above; therefore he is wrong and evil!
Again, imagine if Anita was the quintessential villainous male tyrant of a standard fantasy book and demanded that all of the young and beautiful women in the kingdom had to sleep with him or else he’d slaughter them and their families. And then the author claimed that he was supposed to be a hero. Yeah, something tells me that most readers wouldn’t buy that.
/But that would be too simple and not involve sex./
Because heaven forbid something not involve sex in this series.
/AND THIS IS WHAT EARNS HIM IT INSTEAD?/
