KISS THE DEAD, CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE

Ratsputin followed Sid on Wednesday. His last meal was tiramisu. No, seriously, he wouldn't eat anything else I offered him, not even salmon, but then dad brought home some tiramisu and he liked that. He also got a bit of ME before he died as well---when I first went to check on him, he was very disoriented and didn't seem to have any idea who I was or what was going on, and the poor guy bit me in his confusion. So he got his final sass in (we liked to call him "Sassputin"). As with Sid, I'm grateful that I got to be there with him in his final moments. May it never be forgotten the time he went into my sister's hoodie pocket, pulled out her pack of cigarettes, opened it, took out a cigarette, and PUT IT IN HIS MOUTH! For real. If he'd had a lighter, I'm convinced he would have smoked it too.
