I'm just going to be over here crying that there isn't going to be some kind of vampire civil war. Even if it's not against Anita/JC etc, it'd mean that something is actually happening rather than all this psychic attack nonsense. And something is happening outside the scope of Anita's POV, so that definitely means that it won't happen because nothing exists outside her POV.
I just...I don't understand why LKH continues to insist that she's writing this grimdark violent world but also that she just wants to write about happy naked people. Because the two really aren't meshing very well, at least not in the way she's hoping because now it's grimdark and violent for a whole different set of reasons.
