*flails* I'm so glad that you enjoyed my fic! (And I'm so pleased that you had a "Nnooooo!" moment at the end. It's one of my goals in life to write more ends like that!)
I know what a sequel would entail but I haven't written it yet. Mostly because I'm vacillating on a major plot point (but leaning towards my original decision) and partially because I've got a lot of wishlist fics to finish up.
It would definitely have Buffy trying to muddle through Season 6 as a semi-rational adult while dealing with Edward's complaints that Asher is creepy, stalking him, and using him as a Buffy-barometer. (Asher eventually worked out that Edward is Buffy's "human servant" even if that's not quite how it is between them. Then he hired Edward/manipulated things so that Edward was hired for a lot of jobs around St. Louis. Edward, being Edward, is not amused. But he likes the money... and the opportunity to keep an eye on a devolving Anita.)
Thanks so much for reading my fic and then commenting! ('Cause I was feeling sort of awkward after I posted the link. Which felt weird because I'm generally shameless.)
