Somehow it's a lot more creepy that she puts it into something that's not just straight advertised as specifically that kind of kink fic. If it was just in kink fiction where it belonged, it wouldn't bother me. Agreed! Admittedly, mainstream fiction isn't as forthcoming about its kink content as kink fic is but it'd be a lot easier to stomach this if, as a reader, you know it's a deliberate choice on the part of the author as opposed to id + a series of really bad ideas + no editor.
