Hahaha, I think I've seen that video, I love that one!
I've got theories for what the MOAD should be. Oh yeees, me too. I love love love her concept and it irks me SO MUCH she's executed so shittily and ineffectively. You've probably told me your ideas before but if you've got the time and inclination, mind sharing them again? They're always awesome and make loads of sense!
I have the weirdest feeling that I've missed about a page and a half to two pages of sporking, tops. All of the posts on your journal, however, inform me differently. (And how sad is that? You've certainly got my condolences!) I first read this less than ten minutes after waking up and thought you were trying to say that my journal was missing pages for you. I now realize you are commenting on Bullet XD
While I'm on the subject of Envy, Anita, the "Strong Woman", needs to be rescued from another woman's overly aggressive, lesbian-ish attentions by a heterosexual man... Anita needs to be protected from Evil Lesbian Advances by a strong, straight, traditional man Eeeeew, you're totally right!
The lack of character development (unless I missed it?) No, you didn't miss it, Envy gets absolutely zip-fuck personality. And she never gets developed beyond this scene either, at least not in this book, and, I have a hunch, not in Hit List or Kiss the Dead, if she even appears in those.
admit that JC doesn't check all of the boxes for "Traditional Masculinity"...still very traditionally a guy with a guy identity Not to mention I think he's one of the dudes who Anita emphasizes over and over is sooo pretty and wearing pretty lacy froofroo things but MAKES IT LOOK SO MANLY MANLY MASCULINE CUZ HE'S A MAN
