I miss the earlier bits of JC and Asher's characterizations when they both have preferences, and in opposite directions, but they're just preferences, rather than strong ones that preclude them being together. Ugh, seriously. Bi leaning one way or the other should not equal actually BEING straight/gay. That's why it's BI for crying out loud!
I also deeply and passionately loathe Julianna being retconned into a shared sex toy. UGH YES SIT RAISES MY HACKLES SO MUCH AND I REFUSE TO RECOGNIZE IT AS CANON! Not just because I don't like it but because of all the reasons you pointed out that IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! And anything after NiC is pick and choose your own canon anyway in my book (for instance I pretty much refuse Vittorio's claims about Belle Morte being something new and not descended from MOAD)
