There are only a handful of Native American characters in AB (Bernardo, Alejandro, Obsidian Butterfly, Red Husband, and the four silent priestesses who continually abuse those two Spanish Conquistadors are all the ones that I can think of - and all but Bernardo are Aztecs or, in Alejandro's case, from the people that the Aztecs eventually descended from although that begs the question of why he'd adopt a *Spanish* name) but they *always* get the short end of the stick. None of them gets to be competent and powerful and win.
