Yeeeah, I've noticed a lot of smaller retcons in addition to the big ones (zombies-kill-their-murderers and fey being the major ones) as I look back through some of the older ones :/ And she gets worse with each book
Ooh, that sounds neat! I never read/watched Hellsing but I'll definitely check that out!
