I look almost exactly like the woman from Shutdown, and I'm in the same profession (I'm a biology grad student, not a professor yet). I'm also eeeeevilly not into BDSM or polyamory (judgmental prude! jealous hater!). I've never met LKH before in my life, but reading excerpts from Shutdown was eerily similar to reading personal hate mail.
