1. When... did Asher become super sadistic? I don't remember him being like that in the early books. I remember him being manipulative and like a decent vampire should be (villainy), but... not like that.
2. Yeah, Asher did try to. Or he threatened to. I'm pretty sure he was going to and then OMG HER ACCEPTANCE OF HIS SCARS HEEEEALED HIM OF HIS HAAAATE
3. Wait. How is Nathaniel at all okay with backing off? He can be downright sadistic on his own. Or did he magically ~*get better*~ for Yiyu?
4. I am... so confused. What was the point of this chapter? Besides getting more pissed at Asher for something he actually DIDN'T do. I mean indirectly, kind of, but JC is still just as to blame for not informing her of the possibility. And... I'm still kind of mind-boggled at being sexually attracted to the flaccid penis. Is that a thing of LKH's? Because I find flaccid penises funny. Granted all penises are funny. But... I just... What? WHAT? THIS CHAPTER IS A GIANT WHAT?
5. My headcanon is Damian, Yiyu, and Cardinal forming a poly triad. Because I think it would be cute. And healthier. They could do historical dances and swap stories from history and... Yes. Also, NINJA STORIES.
