QUESTION: Would anyone like to read it if I made posts about my Anitaverse characters? Not fic, just...posts about them. Like this is who they are, this is their background, that kind of thing. Some of them are ones you've seen in fic (such as Lucille, Armel, and Cornelius), some aren't, some are more minor and don't have much to them, some are really fleshed-out, some are expies from my original stories, others were made for the Anitaverse but I'm going to convert for said stories, etc. But they're all in the Anitaverse in some form or another, so I consider them relevant enough to justify posting...but only if you guys would actually enjoy that. This is a sporking blog, after all, not a Let Me Yap About My Stuff blog, so I promise I'll not be offended if you just want to see sporkings only instead.

In other news...

See, Meph--er, I mean, Devil has a twin sister named Good Angel (Good and Bad Angels both occur in the play, so I guess there's a speaking part that's just called Good Angel) and when Devil was little he asked what his full name meant and his mother told him it was the devil in the play and his sister said "I'm the Angel, and you're the Devil" and it stuck. It's true that, as he says, "Almost anything is better than Mephistopheles" but I think the whole idea is stupid and Jake's master really needs to be slapped for inflicting this Marlowe theme on what seems to be half the gold weretiger population. Between Requiem, Wicked, Truth, and this, I think vampires should be banned from being allowed to name themselves or anyone else.

"So your twin sister is Angel and you're Devil?" Yes, Anita, he just said that. She asks if it gave him "a complex of some kind as a kid?" and he asks if she's asking if they lived up to their names, she says yes, he asks if she's asking if he's the evil twin, she says yes, and then his eyes get "all serious" as he answers "You better hope not."

I HOPE SO! I HOPE THIS IS A SIGN THAT EVERYTHING THEY WORRIED ABOUT HIM WAS FOR GOOD REASON AND HE IS GOING TO SCREW SHIT UP FOR THEM NOW THAT THEY'VE GOTTEN HIM ALL BONDED UP AND STUFF! I mean, I know that won't happen, but....sigh. At least we got the sex done and out of the way, right?

Ignoring the fail about how Anita would remain tight after constant, non-stop sex with monster dicks (maybe it's another super-power); this part right completely sums up Anita's role in sex and how the other men view her when it comes to sex. Every time someone new has sex with Anita they comment on how tight she is, every time she has sex there is an over emphasis placed on her 'tightness.' It's not about her, it's all about what the men are feeling as they use her for their pleasure. Throughout this entire sex scene we read the other men positioning her ("used my body as a happy shield."), and talking about her as if she is some sort of object for their sexual gratification. 3.) It's weird and disquieting to me that Anita's comfort levels at any given moment are based on the comfort levels of the people around her. Like, "Oh, well, if HE'S okay with it then I should be too!" Which would explain why none of these people seem to understand Asher having independent comfort levels that are based solely on his own needs.

4.) I have the vague impression that only Meph and Asher ever got naked which leads to some interesting questions about how Micah and Anita end up naked and how Anita got banged.

5.) Poor Asher has to listen to all of these stupid people talk about their stupid voyeurism kink at the worst possible moment. To add insult to injury, NONE of them seems to understand what a voyeurism kink actually entails.

I'd like to see your characters :). The Anitaverse has so much potential, and LKH pissed it entirely away.

Anita talks about how some people just go down on others like a duty or chore

Um what. LKH seems to do this a lot, write about how people treat sex in X bad way but this penis treats it in Y good way. And the reader is obviously supposed to nod and think, "yes, LKH is right, people act like X!" But in every case I've seen, people in my life have never acted like X, so I end up thinking it's a hangup of LKH's.

He stops to tell Asher that "You taste close." Is that something you can actually taste? Precum, I guess, that's a thing, right?

Yeah, but it can happen any time, it doesn't necessarily mean a guy's about to come. "You feel close" or, better, "you sound close" would have made more sense. Though the line is entirely IKEA and shouldn't have been said anyway.

As for Micah getting wet, that's an uncut dick. If he's circumcised, I have no clue what's happening, but it just sounds like he's not circumcised.

All the talking over Anita's head by her mens while they're fucking her creeps me out. And in general the sex is so wordy and not in a fun way at all. I think that it's not that there's too much sex in LKH's books, it's that people won't shut the hell up and get on with it.

See, Meph--er, I mean, Devil has a big sister named Hard Angel (Wet and Tight Angels both occur in the play, so I guess there's a speaking part that's just called Big Angel) and when Devil was wet he asked what his tight name meant and his mother told him it was the devil in the Doomcrotch and his sister said "I'm the Angel, and you're the Devil" and it stuck.
